We did it! Thank you to everyone for your patience, cooperation and hard work! Here are a few updates and reminders.
The 643 building and garage are officially closed, and demolition has started. The surface lot is available until February 1 on a first-come, first-served basis. 643 Reception is also closed, and Alyssa and Evelyn are in Des Plaines.
Habitat for Humanity was on site last week to remove all the furniture not being repurposed in Des Plaines or Wisconsin. Electronics recycling is in progress. Both efforts contribute to our LEED certification program.
The Chicago Marketing printer is now in Des Plaines. Please give the marketing team as much notice as possible for printed materials so they can deliver them to you in a timely manner.
The Des Plaines conference rooms are still being finalized. IT is testing and working out any equipment bugs. If you need help, please contact the Help Desk.
A few additional parking spots are available in the front of the Des Plaines office that will eventually be electric vehicle spots.
Reminders
Hard hat recycling is now available in Des Plaines.
The plotter will be active in Des Plaines by the end of January.
If you haven’t done so, please email your project contacts about our move. We have contacted clients, partners and vendors via email and Plans & Specs – but not everyone is in those systems.
Coordinate deliveries to fit your team’s needs. In general, physical samples should be delivered to Des Plaines.
Mail and UPS/FedEx delivered to Chicago will be forwarded to Des Plaines. Plan on an extra day or two for delivery times.

It was great to see so many people in Des Plaines this week!
Please note that we will move to bi-weekly updates during construction to keep you informed. Again, thank you for your understanding and flexibility during the move-out process. We look forward to the day we can move back to our new and improved workspace!
