Weekly Progress Updates 1/20/23

The main lobby will undergo demolition and construction work for three consecutive weekends. The office will be closed 1/21-22, 1/28-29 and 2/4-5.

This Week

• Started to paint walls on the first floor and ceilings on the second floor

• Started terrazzo tile on the second floor

• Started floor prep on the second floor

• Installed bathroom countertops and plumbing fixtures

• Framed the first floor phase one ceiling

• Sprayed acoustic ceiling treatment

• Started second floor glass handrail

This Weekend

• Demolition of the flooring at the first floor elevator lobby

• Demolition and framing of the ceiling at the first floor elevator lobby

Next Week

• Starting the curtain wall

• Ceiling inspection

• Installing terrazzo on the second floor

• Begin floor prep in the wood and carpet areas

• Install ceiling grid on the first floor

• Install exterior drywall ceilings

Below are some activities taking place next week as we continue to stay on schedule.

General reminders

• During construction, parking spaces have been assigned. Please ensure that you use only your spot or park offsite.

• Visitors will not be able to park in the lot and visiting employees should be prepared to find remote parking. Double parking will not be permitted.

• Emergency issues related to the 643 renovations should be routed to Jack Brown at 847-338-4308.

• All general building maintenance/engineering issues should still be sent to Tom Brannon at 847-609-7893.
